Mark Gilmour
Chief Pilot
Mark is a commercial pilot who has flown everything from Cessnas, all the way up to the Boeing 747 and Airbus A380. Mark holds his Instrument Rating (IREX) which enables him to spearhead procedures for our beyond visual line of sight operations. Mark holds our checking and training approval and oversees the safety of the operation. Mark has previous experience in the facilitation of CRM training courses, human factors training and non-technical behaviour research. He focuses on meeting and exceeding regulatory standards for safety and compliance.
Kane Gibson
Fabrication – Transport and Logistics – Development
Kane is a commercial pilot with vast experience on multiple aircraft types in various locations throughout the globe, most recently operating the Airbus A380. Kane holds an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), Instrument Rating (IREX) and his Remote Pilot Licence. Kane looks after transport and logistics whilst fabricating and developing products alongside the team. A skilled welder, electrical expert, mechanic and carbon fibre worker, Kane is a jack of all trades and makes sure the operation not only runs smoothly, but also continues to run.
Jeff Munro
Maintenance Controller and Head of Development
Jeff holds an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), Instrument Rating (IREX) and a Remote Pilot Licence. Jeff currently flies the Boeing 787 on international routes. Jeff has been working extensively on hybrid powertrain development for long range exploration drones. He specialises in the Pixhawk and Ardupilot ecosphere, designing and developing custom solutions to meet any tailored project. Jeff’s experience in R&D has ensured the platforms developed by Unmanned Precision are always continuing to evolve in capability and reliability whilst ensuring operating costs are driven down and safety is maintained.
